Well this website has been a work in progress for quite some time, but I figure it's finally time to put it on it's feet.
After a busy summer as the Production Stage Manager for The Theater Barn, I was the Assistant Stage Manager for Open the Dark Door, a new indie rock musical by David Nugent for NYMF. It was a great show with an amazing cast & crew (and the band, The Middle Eight, was awesome). David got an honorable mention for his lyrics & Paul Louis Lessard won an Outstanding Individual Performance award from NYMF's Best of the Fest!
I have just started rehearsals for Fur, a new play by Charlotte Walker Miller, for Longstocking Productions.
About Fur:
In order to escape the crushing poverty of her mother’s home, Mimi ventures out to live with her glamorous yet emotionally combustible sister. Set in Texas during the 1940s, Fur asks the question: where is the line between love and suffocation?

As 2009 comes to a close, I look back at what was & what is. Since moving back to New York in November 2008 I have stage managed 13 shows (11 in 2009) and assistant stage managed 1. 5 of those shows were AEA showcases, 2 were non-AEA and 7 were summer stock. I am hoping that 2010 will be just as busy. I'm starting the new year off right with another AEA showcase, a new play for 3Graces Theater Company called The Power of Birds by Robin Rice Lichtig. I'm also busy sending out my resumes for the summer season and I am seriously considering getting my Equity card after the summer. I'm not sure if it will help me, but I don't think it will hurt me too much since a lot of the shows I do are AEA.
Side note: please remember that my site is still under construction; I'm working on putting pictures up, but I have to resize them & it takes time.
